Ink Therapy
We strive to emphasize the therapeutic nature of our tattoo services. Tattoos reduce stress and cortisol levels. Cortisol is a stress hormone. Multiple tattoos were found to reduce cortisol levels and help with stress reduction. High levels of cortisol are associated with many of the physical and mental detriments of stress. The body produces cortisol in an attempt to reduce pain, but the associated effects aren’t always worth the benefits. Multiple tattoos result in the cortisol response being less active. Less cortisol being produced results in stress reduction.
